The much hyped about August elections is three months away.
The Political sphere is charged up with high voltage campagns, with every aspirant out to coerce, woo, lure and solicit for votes from the Citizenry.
With the nascent coalitions formed by a number of party honchos to outshine opponents in other factions, this year's elections will be a competition of tyranny of numbers to enable leaders elect ascend to various elective seats.

In this article, attention is shifted to two seasonal politicians eyeing the Presidential seat, Hon Raila and his political nemesis, Hon Ruto.
The big question though is, in Whose Hands are you Safe?
A fortnight ago, Kenyans were probed to blatantly declare in whose hands is their safety guaranteed between Hon Raila, the enigma and Dr. Ruto, the orator.
This rhetoric offers a roadmap in churning a leader from a dealer. The two political heavyweights have a number of pros and cons in their leadership tenures. The big question though, resonates around affluence ownership and leadership cues possessed by them.
To begin with, Hon Raila goes by the street moniker, "The Lord of Poverty". The name stems from the fact that the enigma hardly issues out handouts/tokens to the people. Screening and scanning through his era of leadership, Hon Raila delivered truly in the dockets he worked in.
He's an epitome of transformative leadership, an emblem of peace and serenity owing to the Handshake deal and he is a blue print of what Kenyan Citizenry should embrace boldly were they to get back to nirvana of peace, sentry and tranquility.
Through his nascent outfit, "Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance, whose core agenda is to merge a number of political leaders drawn from various ethnicities, is a stark reality showing his will and zeal to pacify, unify and converge the fragmented nation as we head to elections.
Hon Raila's political ideologies and agenda gravitate on the issues the local Mwananchi wallows through as he seeks to stem the ever rising gap between the rich and the poor.
His Trickle down economic model is what he pegs his Presidential ambitions on to ensure resources from National government are equally distributed to a proletariat in the villages.
His campagns too are premised on Baba Care, Universal Health Coverage etc.
There were some bottlenecks too in his leadership regime. Claims of pervasive graft in misappropriation of public coffers, allegations of dictatorial antics in him too might have blighted his ambitions of ascending to the coveted Presidential seat.
Will he be fortunate enough to floor Dr Ruto if free and fair polls would be observed?
Dr Ruto on the flipside ,is a seasoned politician who has been tagged 'The Lord of Corruption ". In the short stint he assumed second highest political office in our nation, public coffers have been plundered. They resorted to borrowing colossal amounts of money and can barely account for what these lump some monies were used on.
Dr Ruto is filthy rich. Richer than some seasoned bank CEOs. He cant even on transparency modules, account for the sources of his wealth. He has received backlash from the public domains as being quite ethnic going by the large number of members of his tribe in public offices.
Through his Bottom up Economic model, he has openly explained how he intends to use it as a tool to resuscitate the dying economy and pump more resources into our nation.
Only time will tell how far this will pan out.
The Kenya Kwanza proponent however, has shown flashes of hope in his leadership tenure too.
He has been on record championing for peace in our nation.
As it pans out, it wont be easy landing for Hon Raila neither will it be easy sailing for DP Ruto in the coming polls.
Each one has to play his cards close to their chest, or be beaten pants down.
Since the Presidential elections is a two horse race pitting Hon Raila and Dr Ruto, the scintilla of evidence outlined above presents the masses with alternatives to choose between progressive leadership or opt for a leader that will hobble progress due to graft related cases.
