Hon Washiali was at Khabondi earlier today.
The Kakamega County Governor Fernandes Barasa has this morning teamed up and hosted Kakamega leadership caucus drawn majorly from Mumias East Subcounty at his Khabondi home.
The firebrand County boss convened this retinue to dissect into matters development within Kakamega County and how to scale up the economic activities of Mumias East residents.
In a graceful turn of events; leaders drawn from the larger Mumias East Constituency who had graced the event, used this auspicious occasion to call out the incumbent legislator's motive of perpetually besmirching, tainting and villifying the County boss's name on various occasions; either in person or working in cahoots with his proxies as uninformed ploy that should stall immediately.
This comes hot on the heels of an incident where Hon Salasya's stalwarts accused the Governor for hiring goons who cleared a maize plantation within the County.
In a quick rejoinder and in retaliation to these battery of accusations; the former Makunga Isongo Malaha Ward MCA Hon Lucas Ochami Radoli; breathing fire and brimstone- castigated, lambasted and berated Hon Salasya's cronies on circulating trumped up news, lies and spinning a web of propaganda to garner him political mileage, stating that this ploy is simply a beginning to his end.
"Hon Salasya should desist from clouding Governor Barasa's name with his stage managed ploys. Accord the Governor the respect he deserves", said Hon Radoli.
Hon Benjamin Washiali; the former Mumias East Legislator also present- faulted the incumbent Legislator who has found himself in a precarious, insecure and dangerous altercation with the County Boss over his acrid remarks aimed the Governor.
In his lucid yet calm and composed tone, Hon Washiali distanced himself from the people's choice of leadership at the Constituency level; stating that he had his own choice he fronted that never sailed through.
Distilling down everything to those gathered; Hon Washiali had this to say;
"Based on the Current leadership we have, it's a lesson in disguise. We should learn to separate leadership from dealership; grains from chaff.", he implored.
The clarion call here from the leaders present hinged on the need for all leaders in various cadres to execute their mandate diligently and honourably for service delivery to Wananchi to be seamless with least impedance.
Among others present was Kakamega County CECM for Sports, Youth and Women Empowerment Hon Moffat Mandela, Roots Party Leader Hon George Luchiri Wajackoyah.
