The Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Energy and Petroleum His Excellency Davis Chirchir, EGH; has today confirmed CS Justus Wabuyabo as the CEO Nuclear Power and Energy Agency.
Through a Gazette Notice circulating in the Mainstream Media Houses notably KBC, TV 47and Citizen, CS Justus Wabuyabo assumes the reigns of leadership in full capacity after being in the same position in Acting capacity for 6 months.



But Who is CS Justus Wabuyabo?
Well, just to whet your appetite, let's skim and scan through CS Wabuyabo biography briefly.
Cs Wabuyabo holds a Bachelor Degree of Law from Moi University and a Master of International Law from University of Nairobi.
He is also an advocate of High Court of Kenya with an experience spanjing 22 years.
CS Wabuyabo is also a Certified Public Secretary, Commisioner of Oaths, a Notary Public and An Accredited Governance Advisor.
He is also a Member of Law Society of Kenya(LSK), East African Law Society, Commonwealth Lawyers Association and the Instirute of Certified Secretaries.
CS Wabuyabo joined NuPEA in 2019 as a Director Legal and Regulatory Services and the Corporate Secretary.
Prior to his confirmation as the defacto CEO of NuPEA,  CS Justus Wabuyabo had hold a series of meetings with experts and policy wonks on how best a Nuclear Power Plant can be constructed in Kenya at the Coastal region in Uyombo and Kwale; a plant projected to produce 1000 mega watts of clean, sustainable energy to complement the largely used carbon emitting fuels.
Cs Wabuyabo led a contingent of Kenyan delegation from Nuclear Power and Energy Agency and Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority on a 3 day Technical corperation Meeting to Review and Update the Integrated Work Plan for Kenya's Nuclear Power Programme that was held in Austria Vienna.
  

CS Wabuyabo's appointment is no surprise to the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum as he has exuded confidence to everyone that he has the intelligence nous and the requisite skills to transit NuPEA to levels it envisioned.
Construction of the Nuclear Power Plant at Uyombo in Watamu and Kwale is the uphill task CS Wabuyabo has to face head on before 2034.
